I'm Heather, twin mama tackling the mental load of motherhood
Like everyone without kids, I didn't really understand what was so hard about being a parent. Yet, mere days into motherhood awakened me to just how blissful my judgmental ignorance had been.
Like most moms, I did what I had to do... or what I had been taught I was supposed to do. As the days crept by, an insidious, unintentional inequity also crept in.
What happened to our once balanced home? The resentment brewed, and our "happily ever after" suddenly had a question mark at the end.
I searched high and low for home systems that would help lighten the load. Everything fell flat. All organization; no real thinking.
How could all these tech bros rave about the amazing advancement, yet none could solve the reality of our everyday lives?
I wouldn't stand for it any longer.
